Anakin San is a Hong Kong–born tattoo artist whose journey into tattooing began in 2018, inspired by a lifelong fascination with Japanese culture and motifs. Raised in Hong Kong, he developed a deep appreciation for the storytelling and symbolism embedded in traditional Japanese art, which continues to shape his creative direction today.

Committed to refining his craft, Anakin joined Yip Tattoo Studio to further accelerate his growth as an artist. He is also currently mentored by Jee Sayalero of Humanfly Tattoo in Madrid—an internationally respected tattooist known for his mastery of neotraditional, traditional, and Japanese styles. Under Sayalero’s guidance, Anakin continues to evolve his technical precision and artistic voice, blending cultural narratives with contemporary tattoo aesthetics.
